Head Coach

Brad brings more than two decades of experience as a teacher, instructional leader, and baseball coach, supported by a distinguished playing career at Occidental College, where he was a Hall of Fame inductee, four-year starter, team captain, and multiple-time all-conference and regional honoree. His coaching background includes serving as a high school assistant coach at Hoover High School in California and eight years of youth coaching in baseball and flag football, along with his ongoing work with Elevate Baseball. His approach emphasizes long-term skill development, competitive preparation, and disciplined fundamentals, paired with intentional character development focused on accountability, effort, mental toughness, and teamwork. Brad aims to build players who can compete at higher levels, carry strong values on and off the field, and develop a lifelong respect for the game.

Assistant Coach

Chris Schwing has been passionate about baseball from an early age, playing from little league through high school and earning the honor of winning a 3A High School State Championship in Louisiana. Following his playing career, he coached at youth baseball camps around Baton Rouge while in college, sharing his skills and enthusiasm for the game. Over the past six years, Chris has continued coaching little league recreational teams and most recently building a 9u Travel Baseball Team in Louisiana. He looks forward to coaching Elevate in Spring 2026, bringing both his deep love for the game and his experience to help players grow on and off the field.

Mark Wyatt is a baseball lifer. He got his first taste of the sport as a 3 year old when a coach saw him on the sidelines watching his older brother and asked his parents if he wanted to play. Mark jumped in and spent the next 15 years of his life focusing his time between the lines. After his playing career ended, he spent time away from the game with a determination to one day find a new role in the sport. That day came in 2012, as his oldest son was starting tee-ball. Since that day, Mark has committed himself to coaching teams and administering leagues. He currently has 15 consecutive years leading teams, running leagues, and spending time on the diamond focusing his knowledge on growing the game locally. Currently, he is the Head Coach of the Signal Mountain Middle School Baseball team. The passion he brings to leadership roles, development of players, and the construction of teams in the sport keeps him driven for the future. Mark is the co-founder of Elevate, along with Chris Collins, and is thrilled to be back coaching the team in 2026 and beyond.
